Earles Architects and Associates Completes Design of Ticketmaster Offices

There’s no escaping the excitement of top sports, concert and entertainment in Ticketmaster’s two newly revamped Chicago offices. From Cubs and Blackhawks memorabilia to iconic concert themes and entertainment signage, Earles Architects and Associates played homage to the company’s position as the leading ticket sales and distribution company.

“The company’s former office environment was more subtle, hinting towards the larger music, sports and entertainment themes, but Ticketmaster really wanted us to go all out with these new spaces,” said Dan Earles, Principal with EAA. “The result is a fully energized space with a dynamic experience that showcases the amount of excitement their employees have about work.”

The refreshed design includes sport and entertainment signage and memorabilia; new paint, wall coverings and furniture; and other design details to add personality and energy befitting of such an entertainment-oriented company.

The details?

•3800 Golf Rd., Rolling Meadows, is a 20,000 SF space for 160 employees, plus eight themed conference rooms highlighting the Chicago Blackhawks, The Lion King, Wicked, the Bricks and Ivy of Wrigley Field, Duran Duran, Rush, the Tin Man, and a Chicago Bears room with a “Fridge” theme to honor William “The Refrigerator” Perry.

• 265 Exchange Drive, Crystal Lake, has 17,000 SF for 110 employees, with a refreshed reception area and two themed conference rooms — the World Series winning Chicago Cubs and the United Center.

• Throughout the offices many cubicles have been wrapped in customized themed wall coverings, representing Midwest sports teams. These themes are unified by a poster wall, designed by EAA, with a collage of oversized rock concert posters and playbills.
